Lacie Joy’s legacy will live on in all those she trusted and permitted in her circle of love. Once you were in, you were in for life. Her owners, my sister-in-law, Laurie, and brother, John, loved her like a person–a daughter. I loved her like a niece! She touched my life in a way that will remain planted in my heart for all time.
Lacie thought she was human and she was extremely smart, and comical, and demanding, and haughty, but most of all, she was lovable and soft. So unique–so precious! She loved unconditionally and shared that love according to each person’s personality; again, those who she allowed in her circle of love.
Lacie was indeed an intelligent dog; a remarkable dog; a beautiful dog! I believe God has a special place for all those dearly, departed pets. I would venture to say that at this very moment she is byJesus’ side–happy and content. In life, Lacie was considered The Top Dog–The Royal Dog–and she was treated as such. She will be sorely missed but wonderful memories of her will live on in our hearts– and we will smile again!
