 Today I lost my 11 year old cat Julian a.k.a. "JUJU". I have never had a more loyal companion in my entire life. He stopped eating about 3 weeks ago and after many visits to the vet was diagnosed with fatty liver disease. I knew he was getting weaker and none of the treatments were helping. He loved to go outside and sit on the deck in the sun. I let him out this morning and have not seen him since. I know that he has gone deep into the woods to die.
I am heartbroken. Julian has been with me through so many tough times in my life and he was always there to lay beside me or on my chest. I never married until last year at the age of 47 and it was always a prerequisite that whoever I was with treated Julian with kindness and love. My husband did just that when I met him a couple of years ago and it was part of what made me realize that he was a good man.
I will miss my sweet kitty. I hope he always knew how much I loved him and appreciated his loyalness. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good site where I could order some kind of memorial since I don't have him here to bury or have cremated. Thanks.
