Mr. Milo
Written by Christine Weeks

Dear Milo, I watched as you came into the world. You were a fuzzy orange ball of fur. I could not keep my eyes from watching you. In the midst of all of the other kittens being born you were the one I was drawn to. When you were six weeks old and ready for a new home I made sure you came home with us. From the moment you entered this world you entered our hearts and we knew you were special. Everyone who met you thought the same. You were a little scary sometimes to some, but very special. You had an innate intelligence about you that was almost to the point of being human. You had a way of reading peoples minds and always knew when I needed you. Up until last month you walked me out every morning to the car, and greeted me every night when I pulled into the driveway. I will miss that. I want to thank you for being the best cat anyone could ever have. I feel privileged that you were a part of our families’ life for the past 14 years. Cancer has taken you from us too soon. We will miss you more than you will ever know.

You will always be in our thoughts and in our hearts. I will remember you for as long as I live.

I love you Mr. Milo baby.
