Corky's Story
Written by R Wilkins
Corky, it was our good fortune to save you from an early untimely demise from the SPCA.

We had 12 more wonderful years. We had no idea when we took you to the Drs. that it would be the last time we would see you.

We thought you were going in for dental work and found out you had a large tumor in your throat.

With you being 16 years old, illnesses, deafness, cripple and blind we did what we thought would cause you the least suffering. The dr. did not give you more than a yr or so even without the tumor.

We just wished we had a better goodbye.

We loved your quirky ways: You chased the broom and then would try tearing it apart. Your going round and round like a Merry go round Your family neighbor friends,Cocoa the cat, Lola your cousin dog, and your stuffed animals and how you enjoyed being with them.

We were impressed after your back injury and your master and pals wheelchair contraption. You struggled for days like a toy bobbing bird and totally incapacitated and then you learned to walk again.

You seemed to have 9 lives coming through so much and never changing the unknowing disposition that anything was the matter.

Your neurological problem that you were diagnosed with as a young pup never interfered with much other than climbing and running which you managed on your own terms.

We all loved you and will miss you and will see you in another life.

Now you are with Tucker, Tasha, Jessie and Sammy.

Love Mom and Dad XOXO.
