I still miss my dog........he's been gone a year and a half now. And even though I have a wonderful new companion, I still grieve for Clancy. I am always taken by surprise at how strong these sad feelings are. I think of him every day, sometimes I remember things about him with a smile, sometimes I cry and cry. I read about other people's loss and find comfort in seeing that there are owners like me who had a deep connection with their pet. Thanks to everyone in this world who understands the loss of a beloved friend.
