My cat had her first litter almost 4 weeks ago. there was one thing that was sadly done by her, she only took care of them up until 3 weeks then she abandon them. We didnt understand why 2 beautiful kittens passed away. Then we put two and two together and saw the mother losted her interest in her cubs. We tried to help them especially Sparkles who just did that for us. She was blind and very special. We fed her but she still wanted mother to nurse her. She was so beautiful and fit in the palm of our hand. She passed away during the night on November 30th. My daughter had her and her brother pass away in her arms. To me that is the comfort of a pet who is letting go of the life and love they shortly knew. They are all new now and waiting for us to make that final stop where we will be united with the love of our animals that comfort our hearts for such a short time.
