 I never dreamt of how it would feel to sit and write a memorial about my best friend, my companion, and my son all in one. Loving you was absolutely the fondest memory I have of our time together. I treasure each and every smile that you put upon my face; the fourteen years that God gave you to me. Telling you that I miss you, is an understatment. I can't even begin to elaborate on the amount of sorrow my heart feels without you...The house feels empty here without you. I know that the boys miss you, just as much as we do!! When I gave you the name "Prince", I didn't know then, just how approiate it would be. You lived up to your name-Oh, how you loved to be spoiled...and how I wish I could spoil you once more...I knew that I would miss you, but I didn't know just infact how hard it would be without you. There are so many things I want to say to you, but I don't have to say them, b/c as well as we were connected, you already know how mommy feels w/out you. I promised you 2 years ago, when we found out that you were sick w/ the horrible disease, cancer.....that I would NEVER let you hurt or suffer. It only took me two times seeing you in pain to realize it was time for me to let you go. So now, I'll suffer w/out you... But don't think that I haven't let you go in my heart, that is forever where you will stay!!! I hope that Sarah, Daddy & Nikki made you comfortable that night & I apologize that I wasn't there....it was a hard decision to make, but even harder to watch you suffer. I kept my promise to you Prince. I'll never forget you.... I'll never stop loving you & I'll never forget the way you always made me feel like everything is going to be okay. I know that you're okay now...& I hope that you're having fun!! I'll be there to get you soon.
