I found Monte in Boston's Rescue League in a litter of Calicos way back in 1990. He was the only male and tiny as can be. He was white/tan/brown, no orange and v unique from the beginning. Monte's life had many challenges over the many years he was alive, but he always managed to pull through by somehow soliciting a little bit of love needed from Momma or Pappa or his many brothers and sisters. Monte was a gentle soul, accommodating his siblings first, then taking whatever was left for himself. I learned alot from my little man Monte, the survivor. He was hit by a car in 1996 but managed to somehow crawl home to show Momma. Momma nursed him back to health then and he managed to live a full and happy life for fifteen more years or so by taking wonderful vacations to the Berkshires, Cape Cod, or just relaxing and eating with Mommma. I will miss you Montegue - and will look for your spirit always. God bless your little soul Monte. Mommy is happy you are finally free. XXXXOOOO
