Claude our beloved cat was rehomed by my family from our local cat rescue home. He had been dumped by his previous owners and a kind person had taken him to the cats rescue centre after he was found with a large abcess, he was also found to be suffering with kidney disease and was on medication. We decided to give Claude a loving home as not many older rescue cats have this oppertunity. He settled in well and although he had his fair share of illnesses he seemed very content to be in our home where we showered him with lots of tender loving care. After five months his kidneys could take no more and sadly we had to take him to be put to sleep. It was a very distressing time but i know he is no longer in pain and is in a better place where he can run freely with all the other cats that have passed over. Five months was not a long time but we take comfort in the fact that we made his last few months happy ones, god bless you claude, we will never forget you love all the maskell family xxx             |
