 Quite simply, he was the dog of a lifetime. He passed today, January 27, 2010.
I had him for 12 years. He was a rescue dog who came into my life by fate. Someone found him wandering all over Napa and asked people if they knew anyone who was looking for a dog. I was. And Sam was it. Love at first site. He came into work with me the entire time we were together. We travelled all over Western USA on our road trips and everyone who met and knew Sam was affected by him. I have had people in tears at the news of his passing.
I miss you mate. Now go get them squirrels up there.
