My Pepper Cat died today. Not many people knew him cuz he was so shy. But we had a lovely bond. His eyes would give me "kitty kisses". His purr would give me joy. And while I read a book at bedtime, he would lie on the pillow next to me, holding my arm with his paw. A delight for 11 years!
I wish more people could know how sweet he was. He died of kidney failure. I think I'll die without him. Would you send him a happy thought and tell him to wait for me at Rainbow Bridge?
