Yesterday I had to lay my sweet Teddy to rest. He was only eight years old and was diagnosed with one of the rarest forms of cancer. While his mind was still willing, his poor little body could not. I did not realize how much the illness had taken from him until I returned home, without him in my arms, to look around at all of the medicines he had been taking to keep him with us. When we brought him home for the first time, he was a sick little puppy. He left this world the same way. He was a precious soul, so smart, loyal and loving. My life, and that of my husband will never be the same. I miss you, my sweet Teddy Bear. Our lives were so much better for loving you.
