A tribute to a special Dog in our lifeBorn: Sep 21 1997 Died Feb 02 2008 We were on our way home from My brothers house in Virginia and we stopped off at the Cherry Hill Mall to take a look at the Dogs at the Pet store. From the moment we seen that cute little Cocker Spaniel we knew we had to have her. On the way home we all kept thinking of a name for her but everything just didn't seem to fit but when stacy yelled I know lets call her Winnie and from that point on she was known as winnie to pooh dog. She was always a playful dog, she loved her ball. No matter what she would run for that ball and if it rolled under something like a table or an end table she would sit there for hours trying to get to it. We loved that dog and as I'm sitting here in tears it's killing me to write this but I know it's something I must do because it will help me get over the pain of not having her here with us anymore. My eyes are tearing as I sit here and it's very difficult to write this right now but she was our dog and it hurts so bad. We want to remember her as she was and not the sick little dog she became at the end of her life. We will always remember you Winnie and hope god takes care of you in heaven and remember to look down at us every now and then. You were an important member of our family and we love you forever and ever. You have given us more than we could ever give you in which you gave us unconditional love and we will never forget you our sweet little winnie dog.
