My Sweet Kramer
Written by Marina
My sweet budgie named Kramer. I brought him home when I was 11 years old- Him and his lover, Cocoa which is now a widowed bird. I am 20 now. That means he was a part of the family for half my life.. He was the sweetest thing ever. He lived a long healthy full life for 9 years before he fell ill with a tummy tumor which took his life on August 14, 2011 at 11:45 pm.

I used to play with him and put him on my shoulder like he was my pirate parrot.

Kramer was a very sweet bird.

Even with a tumor taking over 50% of his body, disabling him to fly, walk, or even stand right.. he kept his spirit up. Chirping happily and innocently as the sun rose every morning, providing the house with the music of nature. He would be chirping back at me when I made chirpy noises to him. His body was physically sick, but his spirit was far from sick. He stayed STRONG. I know now that his physical suffering is over and his little bird soul is flying, roaming the earth and skies.. He is in a better place now, and I hope if he can look down at us and understand in human language that we will all have unconditional love for him forever and will miss him dearly. His suffering is over. May his bird soul be free of all evil and suffering, and roam the beautiful world designed for him in the bird afterlife. -love, Marina

- "He was one of the sweetest most playful birds you could ever have and he enjoyed getting splashed by water and eating any wheat hahahha. I miss you. You were different from most birds." -love, Paula

Rest in Peace Kramer we love you! -Your family <3
