In memory of "Xena"
Written by Renee Espinosa
Xena was a 12 year old doberman pinscher who was adopted from the SPCA in Tonawanda, New York. Xena and her sister were found as strays and were separated when adopted. Xena was such a sweet, loyal, and appreciative dog. She acted as if she was thankful that we saved her, we took her in and we helped her. We believed Xena was abused. She came around and turned into a special companion. We had her for approximately 7 years and she was diagnosed with cancer in November 2007. Euthanasia was recommended for Xena. We took care of her until the day she passed away in our home on January 20, 2008. This is a day I never will forget. Xena will be missed and thought about every day. She was a very special dog.
