 Corky Dale was the tiniest baby budgie I had ever seen. My cousin bought him in a pet shop as a Mother's Day present for an elderly aunt who lived in a nursing home. His mission was to bring love and cheer not only to his Mabel, but to those around her. Mabel had my promise that I would adopt her little Corky when her own time came, and in less than a year, "Dale" left the nursing home and came to live with my budgies. He brought a repetoire of interesting sounds he had learned in the nursing home, and was excited by machine noises amd alarms all his life. He was also thrilled to be living with other budgies, and they all adored Dale. He brought joy not only to special humans, but to other birds. He fulfilled his mission tenfold, and he will be missed by his budgie and human friends. Safe flight, Mr. Dale!
