Our cat and friend, Scout; lost her battle with illness this morning on 12/23. We'll miss you waking us up for breakfast in the morning or waiting by the door as I come home from work or sitting in my lap as we would doze off to sleep. I know your suffering is over - but mine now begins.
Every Christmas anymore, I lose a friend or family memeber and am finding it harder and harder to celebrate this time of year for fear of what it will bring. Thank you for the time we shared, and I hope your in a field of catnip with all the toys you ever wanted. If you see Barbaro, wave a paw hello. I'm sure we'll meet again where death can never separate us. Goodbye friend.
