I've never had the opportunity to honor your life in this way before. You stole my heart like no one else could or ever will. You gave me love when I felt like no one could or would love me. You gave me companionship when I was all alone. You never argued with me or fought with me. You never complained about my behavior or demanded anything of me. All you did was LOVE ME! And for that I will always be eternally grateful that you happened to come into my life. You were the best friend I ever had and when you went to be with God I thought my heart would break. Nothing hurt as bad or ever has since you went to be with God. But it was your time to go to God. One day I'll be with you again. I know I told you I would never get another dog, but another popped into my life 13 years later and I just had to. He reminds me so much of you and your memory that I wish I had done it earlier. Don't worry, you'll always be my first love. Till we meet again my baby boy, I love you and always will.
