| My Beloved Beau |

My darling little dog, Beau, originally belonged to my mother. He followed her home from a friend's house one night and after all efforts to trace his owners failed she kept him. The vet reckoned he was about a year old at that time. My mother only had him for 7 months when she died of cancer and I took him home with me after that. We were together for 11 years and he was the love of my life and I adored him. He loved his walks, his treats (of which he got many) and lying on my lap with his head under my arm whilst I watched T.V. in the evenings. H e was always so healthy and full of life but developed cancer of the pancreas in the last few months of his life. The vet could do nothing, he was in pain, and I had to make the heartbreaking decision to have him put to sleep. I would have paid every penny I own to make him better and not to leave me. I can't describe how devastated I am and how much I miss him, my heart is broken. I loved you so very, very much, my darling Beau, and I miss you terribly and will never forget you. Rest in peace sweetheart. |
